Our first potluck!

Hello and welcome to the site for Ithaca Community Potluck!

Ithaca Community Potluck is an ongoing project with the ultimate goal of bringing together individuals from the Ithaca, Cornell, and Ithaca College communities.

The purpose of the potluck is to encourage communication, new friendships, and the exchange of ideas, knowledge, talents, and good food.

You are invited to join other members of the local community at 5:30 pm on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Women's Community Building in Downtown Ithaca for the first potluck.

You are encouraged to bring something to share with others: food, a poem, song, dance, performance, or anything else you can think of!

Bring your family (bring the kids too!), friends, neighbors, professors, roommates, and everyone else you know!

If you can, either bring a copy of the recipe for your dish (or a general idea of ingredients and the method of preparation) or post the recipe as a comment on this blog so that we can create a large collection of Ithaca Community Potluck recipes. This way, people who loved your dish at the potluck can recreate it in their own kitchens :)
